Already inspired by the potential syntropic farming can bring and its ability to regenerate lost soil ecosystems. Through my research, I have come to the fact that one needs experience working at a farm before establishing their own. For this reason I would like to volunteer on your syntropic farm if possible.

It’s a process-based rather than input-based form of agriculture. Ernst likes to say the biggest input necessary for syntropic Ag is knowledge. There’s a whole philosophy behind his thinking which rivals that of Steiner’s Biodynamics. Ernst focuses on ecological processes and lets nature work out the subtle energetic processes biodynamics focuses on. Biodynamics has a large following and is a well known methodology in organic circles… But Syntropic Ag in my opinion has the potential to be way bigger and more successful at fundamentally changing the food system. It’s science based and there are many independent studies which explain in scientific detail these life processes that Syntropics simply harness and utilize. It’s also simultaneously a return to indigenous wisdom in many ways. As it’s also not a prescriptive method – there’s no recipes handed down from on high and every locale will have its own unique conscorcia of plants to utilize – there’s a wide open field for dedicated individuals to develop working solutions for every crop and climate.
